July 20th – Whiskey Rebellion Day

Join us on Sunday, July 20th, for our Whiskey Rebellion Day! Ranking among the most important events in early America, the Whiskey Rebellion fomented, and came to a violent precipice, right here in Southwestern Pennsylvania. The first shots, in fact, were fired on what was then the Miller farm. During this event, we reenact the clash between federal tax collector, David Lennox, and hot-headed Scots-Irishman, William Miller. On display will be exclusive, rare copies of legal documents pertaining to the Millers (including a pardon from George Washington), and the original Miller whiskey still, made in the 1770s, that started it all.

We are open every Sunday from 1:30-4:30 PM, last admittance 4:00. The cost is $2.00 cash per person at the gate. For more information, feel free to message us on Facebook or via email.
