Oliver Miller Homestead Associates are proud to offer a new-to-us event: Scots-Irish Day! The Scots-Irish, also called Ulster-Scots, bravely set out en masse to tame and settle the frontier. Our paterfamilias, Oliver Miller, hailed from a such a family. Their proud, clannish behavior made them loyal fighters, but highly suspicious of government authority. They played a pivotal role in shaping our country. Come see us on this afternoon to learn more about the Scots-Irish in early America!
